WhatsApp is a tremendously useful way to keep in touch with people all over the world for free. With over a billion users worldwide, is most popular messaging app. It is a very good tool to exchange multimedia content such as text messages, voice messages, photos, videos etc with families and friends. Some of these Multimedia content are very important and you don’t want to loose them.
So, it is important to make a backup of your WhatsApp chats. There are two easy ways by which you can backup iPhone WhatsApp chats. WhatsApp uses iCloud to backup your chats to the cloud to help you in any unfortunate case the WhatsApp chats gets deleted or your phone is stolen. You can make a manual backup of your WhasApp chats. Launch WhatsApp from your Home screen and click on gear icon (settings) at the bottom right corner.
Then tap on Chats option and then on Chat Backup. Now tap on Back Up Now and it will start uploading your chat data to your iCloud. You can also backup iPhone WhatsApp chats automatically on iCloud. Follows the instruction below for that. On the chat backup screen tap on Auto Backup.
Tap on Backup Frequency to set your desired frequency for backup of WhatsApp Chats. By default, this is set to Weekly. We suggest that you change this to Daily to avoid data loss. If you want your WhatsApp videos also to be backed up on iCloud , then select Include Videos option in Chat Backup screen. The iCloud backup process can take a while to complete, depending on your Internet connection and backup size. You can also send your WhatsApp conversations to your email easily.
But the WhatsApp messages you will get in your email will be in txt file format and can not be restored. And it also doesn’t include images or other attachments. Open WhatsApp from your iPhone’s home screen and go to the conversation which you want to email. Swipe right on the chat screen and then tap “more”, then choose Email conversation, Choose whether to attach media or not (i.e. attached photos or videos). An email will be sent containing the conversation of that in attached TXT document. If you chose to include media, all the most recent photos/videos from the chat will also be included as individual attachments.
Easy access to the backup files from PC and any iOS device. All the above methods can meet your demand of backing up iPhone 7 without hassle. Which one is the best, It totally depends on your needs and conditions. However, AirMore FlashDisk is supposed to be the most practical way, as it is simple to use, easy to take and safe for storage.
Why's my iCloud backup so big, My phone hasn't backed up for over two weeks, but I'm not sure why, It says my next back up size is 5.2gb, and that an additional 2.3gb is required to back up, and my current back up size is 2.1gb - so if I've used 2.1 and need 2.3, that's 4.4, right,
And it's saying I have 2.9gb available, but when I press 'back up now' it fails saying I need to buy additional space. I'm not sure what's eating up so much space, My photo library is 2.9gb, but everything else is tiny. Out of the huge list of apps listed in the storage info, only three or 4 are turned on, and these are a couple hundred mb combined.
It was saying I'd used 4.9gb and had 145mb available, and after hunting the net, I read that someone else was having the same prob, and fixed it by turning off camera roll, and then back on. So why won't it back up, I'm loathed to delete the back up and try again, in case it still won't do it and I end up with no online backup.
But a mate with roughly the same camera roll size as mine (2.3gb) still has over half his available space left, and that's with an iPad on the same account too. I suspect that this is to do with your PhotoStream. When you take a picture, it uploads to your PhotoStream which counts as part of your iCloud storage (even though it is not shown in the Settings).
